New Child Care Licensing Laws Take Effect
New child care laws are now in effect in Kansas. Since July 1st, “Lexie’s Law” has been on the books. Katie Patterson-Ingels, with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, says the new law does away with a category called “Registered Family Day Care Homes.”
