Question by Star: How do you claim food expenses on your taxes as an in home childcare provider?
I have been doing this since 2007. I receive a monthly reimbursement check through a food program. I was wondering because even though its like extra income, it is still an expense because ALL of it goes towards food for the kids so it evens out. Just wandering how do you guys go about it when filing your taxes? Thanks:)

The reimbursement is part of your income and you deduct what you spend for food.
