Simple to use, very comfortable for Parent and Child. Products a safe holding vest for infants/toddlers during Airline or Bus FlightsFor parents who often take to the skies with a baby in their lap, this light, stowable item may offer extra peace of mind when worn during a flight. The soft cotton vest can be worn throughout a trip–many toddlers will think the bright red fabric and buckles a cool addition to their wardrobe. Three plastic buckles snap at sides and crotch, and the adult’s seat belt passes through a nylon loop to secure child to parent. This harness would be a must-have accessory for the frequent-flying baby–if it were FAA approved for use during takeoff and landing. Currently it is not, a fact we felt the manufacturers should make much clearer than they do. During takeoff and landing, then, this simple vest/harness cannot (alas) replace the uncomfortable baby lap belts provided by the airlines, although it meets all FAA regulations for use during flight. –R

Question by importsdesa: How do the tax benefits work with child care expenses? We will spend 24,000 in child care this year.?
We have 2 children, both under 5. This year we will spend 24,000 in child care expenses. I am not sure how this will work on our taxes. I know you can claim child care expenses, but how much do you usually get back for child care expenses?

Best answer:

Answer by zepmagick13
There is a max amount i think it is 3500 per child maybe? When you fill out your 1040 it will point you to a worksheet that is available on the irs website. It will tell you exactly how to figure it. make sure you have receipts or a statement showing how much you paid. If it was a daycare they should send you a statement, or you can request one. The IRS also has directions on what to do if they refuse to give you one.
