Question by Just me: Preschool curriculum?
Does anybody know of any good toddler and or preschool curriculum’s? I am looking for something that you can have sent to you every month, not anything that you have to pay for and print your self.

Thank you!

:-) I did a little “research” on some of these purchased monthly curriculums and find that they are lacking. Each child, group of children are so different and their needs are so different that a “curriculum” like this really do not meet the needs. Also, it hard to “send” you a well-rounded curriculum. A lot of it is paper “work”, art ideas that really aren’t open ended etc. I tend to now view these “curriculums” more as a supplement…something that can be added to one’s main curriculum or extend it. I, personally, found that creating my own was the best route for me.

for toddlers, you could probably just find various sensory activities for them to do and have lots of choices for free play within the classroom (and books, they love them and they need to see them). I have alot less experience with preschool. If you know any other teachers in that area I would ask them for what they have done rather than pay for something to be sent. With experience I am sure that you will develop your own plans to use every year.

I can’t think of any free preschool curriculum.
I am a More @ 4 preschool teacher and we use Creative Curriculum in our school system.
You could develop theme based lesson plans using free internet resources but if you are state licensed then I am not sure what they would look for.
“Active Play” is a good basic curriculum planner and you can also try “High Reach”
