I wish I could show it to middle school and high school students as well. Dr. Buehler's humor is appropriate and keeps the attention of the viewer. I think that every young person should see this video as well as any students who are planning to work in areas related to child development and disabilities. He does a great job in describing the developing fetus. Parts of the video are quite graphic with regard to some serious genetic disorders--some of my students are "blown away" with what can happen to a baby... especially when some of the anomalies could be prevented with good prenatal care. I have used this video in teaching college-level coursework in child development and training paraprofessionals in Special Education.
