MSU Extension.
I went onto their website…www.mseu.msu.edu …but didn’t see it right off. You best bet is to contact an Extension Educator in your area. I know it varies from county to county. I can better help you with phone numbers and such if you live in Arenac County. For that matter, these educators could give you contact numbers.

Review by Sandy Jones & Marcie Jones for Choosing Childcare: Finding and Keeping the Best Childcare Arrangements
Rating:
This book gives lots of great, practical advice on finding the right childcare for your child at every age. “Will my child be comfortable, secure and fit in? What are the staff attitudes training and expectations? How much individual attention does my child need?” — Dr. Auerbach’s suggested questions to help you judge if a childcare situation is right for your child. (She’s also known as “Dr. Toy.”) The book covers all kinds of care options from care in your home, home care in someone else’s home, and childcare centers. There are practical checklists for everything from the first telephone interview to your first onsite visit and beyond. There are Q&As for parents, as well as a list of Internet resources at the end of the book. If you’re going back to work or school, it offers answers to that gnawing question of how to figure out the best care for your baby or child.
