Question by Love Perseveres! A&C mommy: At what age can you leave a child home alone?
For example, can an 11 year old stay at home after school for a couple hours a day until his parents get home from work? At what age is a child aloud to be alone? I always thought it was 12 years old.
I live in CA if that’s any help.

No legal age in CA. It’s when the parent feels they are mature enough to be home alone.
